Helping charities go from good to great

The Guernsey Community Foundation has formed a new partnership to offer free consultancy services to charities.

The Foundation is working with Chris Atkinson, an executive team development consultant and coach who, in 2001, became one of Microsoft’s youngest Vice Presidents.

Chris’s ‘Good to Great’ interactive workshops are tailored to the needs of each charity’s specific mission, ultimately seeking to optimise the work and time of its volunteer resources by providing professional support to volunteer sector managers who are seeking to develop their organisations and their volunteers.

Chris said: ‘I have a passion for team development and am delighted to offer my professional services to charities in Guernsey through the Foundation. Optimising the work and time of your resources is the greatest challenge you can face. Our offer is to help you do that in the context of your specific mission and charity market. I am more than happy to talk to any charity, confidentially, about how we can help and about other client work I have undertaken.’

Any charities who think they could benefit from Chris’s pro-bono input are welcome to contact him to discuss how they can move from Good to Great.
