Winners announced at 2013 Community Awards
The winners of the 2013 Community Awards were announced at last night's event held at St James.
The evening was boosted by an inspiring speech from Phil Packer MBE who dedicates his life to inspiring young people, after sustaining catastrophic injuries on duty in Iraq.
The evening was hosted by James Partridge OBE, a Director of the Guernsey Community Foundation and Founder/Chief Executive of UK Charity Changing Faces.
The winners are:
Charity of the Year: Guernsey Cheshire Home
Fundraising Team of the Year: Friends of Les Bourgs Hospice
Overseas Award: Bridge to Sri Lanka / Bridge to Haiti
Outstanding Individual Achievement: Liz Head
CSR Award: RBC Wealth Management
Organising Committee of the Year: The West Show
