As part of GROW’s major regeneration project, the Foundation has donated a grant of £25,000 to the charity. This will go toward fitting out its new workshop with equipment and tools for the expanded tutoring opportunities.
Fiona Bateson, Chair of our Grants Panel, was pleased to see the donation had been earmarked for this area of the regeneration project. “We were delighted to be able to offer GROW a grant. The training and employment opportunities it provides its clients within a safe and secure environment are outstanding. Funding for GROW’s redevelopment project seems to be going at pace and we hope that our donation will prompt other potential donors to reach into their pockets and offer their support.”
Our Grants Programme gives over £250,000 a year to charities and not-for-profits. Applications, which should be for a minimum of £5,000, are accepted all year round.
